What's the planned root? I'm assuming you'll be taking I-80 then into I-76? If that's the case, prepared to be bored west of Lincoln until Denver. Honestly, I think this is one of the most boring stretches in the US that I've been on. I've done it several times, and it never gets better. Depending where in Iowa your at, I'm sure you could make it to Denver without an overnight stop if you want.

You are new on the Forum, so you may not know, but there are no boring places -- only unaware travelers. I have driven more than 500,000 miles in North America and have never found any boring places.
Sometimes you just have to look a little harder.
