This building has been "viewed" by hundreds of thousands of people. Where is it and what attracted all of the interest?

First thought that came to me was "Mono County Courthouse" in Bridgeport, but it isn't ornate enough and the windows and tower are wrong.

Still pondering.

1963 was a good year for some things -- and this place earned a bit notoriety starting in 1963.... Actually, Peter may have the "inside scoop" on this location --

Found it.

Bodega schoolhouse, used in Hitchcock's 'The Birds'; released in 1963.

Yep, it was used in the filming of "The Birds" released in 1963!
