Las Vegas to Denver in Aug

Hi:

We are a group of 6 people (4 adults and 2 kids,1 is 3years old and 1 is 9 years old). We are going to from Las Vegas to Denver for a business trip in later Aug. Will stay in Denver for 1-2 days. We notice it takes 12 hours for driving from LV to Denver, is there any scenic route we can take? we don't mind stop in between for 1-2 nights.
Any suggestions are very much appreciated.

Actually, the direct route from LV to Denver is about as Scenic as you can get in my opinion. Both I-15 and I-70 go through some remarkable areas, including the San Rafael Swell and Glenwood Canyon. You'd also be within short detours of several national parks, including Zion, Bryce, Arches, and Rocky Mountain.

The trip is 750 miles, so its a trip that would be better off done over at least a day and a half. You could do it in one long marathon day, but with so many places to stop, I'd break it up.

if you have some spare time for your return leg you could come of hwy 70 and onto hwy 24 that will take you to hanksville and through capitol reef n.p. and then onto the spectacular scenic 12 through escalante, bryce canyon and then to zion 0n hwy 89 before connecting back up with the 15,although you would need at least 2-3 nights.
