Get Yer Roadgear Here!!
The city of Chicago is making you an offer you can't refuse. So you say that you just can't find that perfect Valentine's Day gift for that someone special. It just has to be unique and out-of-the-ordinary.
Well, here's a thought. You can get items from "Chicago's Attic" at the Historic Pumping Station at 163 East Pearson Street, one of the few structures to survive the Chicago Fire. By this, I mean you can get genuine transit signs, street signs, and parking meters as well as other Chicago memorabilia.
You can also make your own custom street sign for $70 (first 15 letters and spaces). They say to allow 2 to 3 weeks for delivery so that would be too late for Valentine's Day.
You can also buy a Go Chicago Card there with prices starting at $49. This will give you unlimited admission to 25 Chicago attractions such as the Adler Planetarium, Shedd Aquarium, Museum of Science and Industry, Field Museum, Art Institute (right by Route 66), five attractions at Navy Pier, trolley passes, admission to the Hancock Observatory, and Sears Tower Skydeck. This would seem to be the way to go when visiting Chicago.
You can call 312-742-8811 to get more information.
