Brazilian girls on a winter roadtrip

[Pat winter trip]

We are planning a road trip from California to Canada through the west coast. I'm afraid the weather in February may represent a problem, since we are kind of experienced drivers, but we don't know about driving up to Canada this time of the year. How bad is the weather? How about the roads?
We would appreciate any advice regarding if this trip is a nice idea or whether we better change plans!

February wouldn't bother me -- I'd do it. If you stick to the coast area you'll encounter rain and fog probably, but not much else weather-wise. In weather that alternates between rain and otherwise, this can be a very beautiful time to see this route. On the other hand, if it gets socked in and overcast, it is possible to not see much for long stretches. This is the chance you take in the winter season in a marine climate. Bob
