Feb Roundtrip San Francisco to Vancouver

We are a couple planning a road roundtrip from San Francisco CA to Vancouver BC next February. We have 2 weeks available and we are worried with weather conditions. May anyone give us some advice about it? Suggestions about itinerary and places to see and stay are most welcome!Thank you!
