Trip from Alaska to Kansas City (Canada?)

I am taking a road trip that I would like to spend about 20-25 days of fun with. There are enough sites out there that I can find some pretty fun things in the 48 states. but my question is, is there any info on things to do while I am in Canada? Its a big place you'd think there would be something to do. It will be this coming summer in a Ford Escape and three people sleeping in the Escape...going to be good times! :-)

Thanks for your help on the Canada issue but feel free to also suggest real good sites on weird and fun things to do in the 48. ages range 17-24

Yes indeed, it will be good times. For starters, be sure to get a copy of Milepost. This is the 'bible' for those driving the Alcan Highway and will give you both a broad overview of the route as well as the particulars that you might miss otherwise. Also do a search of these forums for Alaska, Yukon, and the like - I'm sure there are others who have made this trip and have posted their experiences, such as this site that we link to from our Routes, Itineraries & Advice page. I assume you'll be waiting at least until spring, so you're starting to plan in good time.

Yep, there a few whacky, inspirational and just plain fun things to do in Canada. The first thing I would suggest is to use "Canada" as the keyword for searches on this Forum -- there are hundreds of posts. Another site that I use whenever I am looking for the "odd" is managed by a friend and collegue and is a collection of really large roadside attractions.
