Default Denver back home to Mississippi

Ok guys I just stumbled across this site and its exactly what I have been looking for! Awesome information! Ok, well I am buying an out of state car in the near future. I live in north Mississippi and found a nice deal in Denver Colorado. Me and my buds were planning on pickin me up a ride somewhere and making it a roadtrip and we got lucky to find one in such a nice place to make this a good experience. Well we are all college students and we are lookin to get the most out of our ride back, even if that means a lot of stops and detours! I have never seen a mountain or scenery like this state or other states in that area have. I am sure the guys are gonna want to stop and party in a city too soo keep that in mind but newayz thanks for the help. Ohh yea well probably be sleeping in the car also. Sounds fun ehh?

Those fabulous Rocky Mountains aren't between Denver and Mississippi. Denver is an the flats just before the mountains begin. What's in your path back home is miles and miles of The Great Plains. You'll be glad you aren't walking! You might want to brush up on pioneer/settler history.

    ....can't help with parties.

I strongly suggest lots of blankets and sleeping bags for sleeping in the car. It's going to go to MINUS EIGHT tonight!

You might also prepare for adventures of the mechanical/electrical variety. Buying a car unknown to you (I'm assuming here) means you'll find out some things, some of which might not make you happy.
(though I've bought 2 of my last 3 cars - used, and at a distance with no big issues)

. How much time have you allowed for your return trip? There is plenty of wonderful scenery you can enjoy by zig-zagging your way south through Colorado, New Mexico & Texas. How are you getting to Denver?
