I live up in Sonoma County so I can go down 101 through SF on to I 5 or I can cut over 37 to Stockton and go down 99. Which would you recomend?

Theresa, I am going to make a guess and assume your destination is Las Vegas? If so, the best route is usually determined by how fast you want to get there and the time of year this trip is being planned for. So, what are the where, when, and hows of your trip?Originally Posted by swift
Assuming that the trip will occur in the next month, the fastest route would be SR-12 to I-680 to I-580 to I-5 to SR-58 to I-15 which is almost exactly a 600 mile trip. If you drove non-stop you could make it in about nine hours.

Hi, thank you for the responce. Yes, our destination is Las Vegas. We will be going to meet some relatives there. Our check in dates for our timeshare are 12/26 - 12/29. We are just staying a few days to see everyone for Christmas and then get back home, drop of the kids, and then head up to Konocti, Lake County, to meet friends for a New Years Party. So on this trip we are not looking to meander too much and instead enjoy ourselves at the destinations.
