I just wanted to stop off and leave a message to thank you for all your advice before our roadtrip from Los Angeles to Flathead Lake, Montana. The road trip was fantastic and we really enjoyed all the scenery we saw, although we could have enjoyed a few more days in America.

The trip up to Montana was fine, we did it following the schedule, stopping in Beaver on the first night and in Dillon on the second, making it to Flathead Lake on the third day well in advance. The trip from Salt Lake City to Dillon was a bit tough as Idaho seemed to drag on forever but the first day was beautiful and we loved Utah and the people there. The trip back down was much quicker and we became much more adventurous, stopping in small places and heading for the local cafes and restaurants. Everyone was so friendly and open. And we have become addicted to the best western motels with pools and all. Thank you for reassuring me that the distances were not impossible and we are planning a road trip for next year, in Europe!
