san diego trip, notable stops help

Hey, Im leaving san diego on a road trip in a few weeks and am planning to stop at death valley then on to vegas, followed by stops at Zion and Bryce Canyon, and finally the Grand Canyon. Can anyone recommend some notable food stops along the way or any particulary interesting sights. Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

China Ranch is off the tourist path and a place I would recommend on the way to Las Vegas from Death Valley.


For Food while at Death Valley National Park -- none can compare with the sumptious dining to be found at the Furnace Creek Inn.
