I'm trying to plan a roadtrip from Vancouver to San Diego, this August. Is this possible in about 10 days? Any ideas on how to keep things as cheap as possible? Any help would be appreciated:)

Expenses on a roadtrip are (just about) entirely based upon fuel costs (human and vehicle) and entertainment values sought. You can certainly reach San Diego in 10 days with a departure from Vancouver, in fact, if you wanted to do it as cheaply as possible you could cover this distance in just over 25 hours -- stopping only for fuel and for brief stretch sessions.
