Is it worth the extra $16 to get the one with travel guide included (http://shorl.com/farykystavegra), instead of the standard one (http://shorl.com/jaketaligefry)?

It depends on how much you are going to use it. For my money the best one is the spiral-bound, laminated atlas . I use it every single day. But we also recommend the others on this Maps page.Is it worth the extra $16 to get the one with travel guide included instead of the standard one

For anyone who cares, maps are sort of my, say, specialty (I have over 240 maps of the world in my appartment, not counting several atlases).
I use the standard staple-bound rand mcnally road atlas, mainly because of the rarity that I actually have to USE it like some do.
For people who just want to have an atlas (since it should be replaced every 2 years or so to keep up with changes) to keep in the car, a staple-bound one is fine. As far as the extras, if you think you will use it, get it.
If you use your atlas ALOT, look into a spiral bound or other heavy-use type.
