San Francisco-Yosemite-Death Valley-Las Vegas
Hello from the UK! Hope you Guys and Girls can offer some advice.
We are planning to Drive from San Francisco to Vegas, Via Yosemite National Park and Death Valley, we have allowed for one nights stops in Yosemite and Death Valley. We are concerned that we have not allowed enough time for the driving (though are happy to site see whilst driving) and are particularly worried about the Drive to Death Valley from Yosemite.
Can anyone shed some light on the quality of the roads and the ease of the drive? We understand that the drive is around 350 mile/six hours and there will be two of us sharing the driving, but is this a difficult drive, are the roads slow and winding? should be consider an extra stop over and if so wher
Thanks You
Jaydun

When are you doing the trip?
There are hundreds of posts on this forum about the route between San Francisco and Las Vegas via Yosemite and Death Valley.
If you trip is after ~ June 15th, there is a good bet that Tioga Pass will be open. If so, you can follow the route that Megan Edwards Megan Edwards used during a solo road trip last year.
If you use the Search box above, you can read about some of those other routes.
Generally, the roads are slow and winding. But should be no problem for the time you have allocated.
