NYC to LA in six days? Shooting video as well...

A friend and I are borrowing someone's car (who I have never met) and are going to drive from NYC to LA, mostly on I-40 because that's what mapquest pointed out to us. We plan to capture the change of terrain by videotaping passing footage.

Any advice? Does six days sound like reasonable time? We're hoping to drive maybe 8-10 hours a day.

6 days gives you more than enough time if all you plan to do is drive -- you could probably accomplish the trip in 4-5 days if you were in a hurry. So six is great.
