    Default NYC To Toronto

    Hi!
We're planning on going to Toronto from Queens, NY in a few weeks, but I'm not sure if I should take the thruway, then head west, or cut through NJ/PA?
Thanks in advance for any advice!

    Default directions

I-80 to I-81 to I-90 W. I-190. Cross border (see Niagara Falls from the Canadian side) & you'll take #405 to Q.E.W. towards Toronto.

Enjoy your trip. That's the most straightforward route.

You could also take I-87 N through NY State and the Adirondacks, cross the border to Quebec on I-15, I-40 and take I-401 in Ontario. NYC-Montreal is 5 hours approx. and it's going to be another 5-5½ hours to Toronto. It depends on your interests, but I do think Niagra Falls (Canadian side) is a must see as well as the Thousand islands from either side of Lake Ontario (on I-401 or I-90).

    Have a nice trip!
