From L.A. to Baltimore in less than 10 days (Southerly route)

I am traveling from L.A. to Baltimore on December 20 and I have to be in Baltimore by the 29th. I have been doing a lot of research on planning my route and trying to figure out what to do. But, everytime I look for answers, I end up with more questions. Can anyone offer me advice? Emails welcome (and recommended). Thanks in advance!

Since you can cover that distance easily in five days, and you have allotted ten -- what kind of route questions do you have?

With respect to finding more questions than answers -- that is the nature of any pursuit -- the more we learn, the more we find that we don't know. Sounds to me like you are on the right track.

There are hundreds of suggestions of places to visit along a route from LA to Balitmore on this site. Enjoy!

Hi,
I'm planning a coast to coast roadtrip around the Christmas week as well. From Washington to LA via Atlanta, Dallas, TX and Phoenix, AZ.
Onwards to SF. On the way back, I'm thinking of taking the I-70/US 50 corridor. The possible snow in the Rockies is giving me a pause though.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
