I'm going to go from Salt Lake City to San Fran and back in late Feb/early March. I only have a week and want to spend a few days in SLC and a few days in San Fran. Do you think this might be too tight to pull off?

I'm going to go from Salt Lake City to San Fran and back in late Feb/early March. I only have a week and want to spend a few days in SLC and a few days in San Fran. Do you think this might be too tight to pull off?
Oh, I forgot to mention. I plan on taking I-80 there and then coming back on US-50.
10 hrs vs. 16.5 hrs
It'll take 10 driving hours on I-80 (excluding stops and breaks) -- and using the federal highways on the return, 16 or 17 driving hours. So at most you'll have a couple of days in each city. If that works for you, then yes, it can be done. Bob
