Default Coastal Maine and Atlantic Canada Road Trip

We are planning a late-July road trip from Bangor, along the coast of Maine, into Atlantic Canada (Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island). Any suggestions for what to see and where to stay/eat (especially off the beaten track) would be appreciated.

    Default Must Sees

    Hi,
I don't know if you are hikers, but Mount Kathadin is a must, but you better arrive very early in the morning or make reservations a few weeks before because I think they restrict access to 50 people. If you enjoy beautiful sceneries, you should visit the Bar Harbor area including some of the Islands there, it's magnificient. In Nova Scotia, you can follow the Cabot Trail, it's interesting and you will find many camping opportunities along the way.

    Have a nice trip!

    Default See....

If you're going into New Brunswick (versus the ferry):

It's quite something to see the water level rise that much in such a short period of time!
