Default Only one campground on the strip.

and that's Circus Circus. It is just a parking lot with hook ups. There are bathrooms, showers and a pool.

Check out the picture of our campsite! They are the 3rd and 4th picture on the page.

In the area is Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon National Park. Both worth two nights and a whole day or more each.

If you make a circle from the Grand Canyon up hwy 89 you can do Lake Powell, Bryce and Zion and then Las Vegas. That's what we did last year on our vacation.

Here's the beginning of our pictures:

Default Actually there several very nice campgrounds in Las Vegas

Personally, the one place I wouldn't suggest to anyone is Circus Circus! There is a very nice KOA at Blue Diamond Road, Oasis is 1 block west of the strip at Windmill and there are 4-5 equally superb campgrounds within 1/2 mile of either the LV strip or the boulder strip.

Ethel M Chocolate Factory is pretty cool, the old Mormon fort, Red Rock, Valley of Fire. We have a new site that is dedicated to Living Las Vegas that you might find helpful -- at last count I think I have added over 200 destinations in and around Las Vegas.
