4 months in canada camping

I will be leaving in May and hope to camp for 4 months in the northern territories and possibly go to Alaska.
My first question is: can I assume I will be able to easily purchase stove fuel (the little propane cans)in canada?
Any suggestions or imputs on canada?

The propane canisters sold in Canada are identical to those you get here. They are widely available -- one place to get them is "Canadian Tire."
