    Default Minneapolis to North Lake Tahoe

    My Dad has agreed to help drive my car to my winter destination of North Lake Tahoe. I'll be working at a ski resort there. I need to find decent places to sleep and eat that are relatively inexpensive. Any help would be appreciated! Our first stopever is expected to be in Nebraska. The second night, I believe, Utah. Has anyone traveled this route? Thanks:)

    I-80, your primary route through the "fly-over states", will have plenty of cheap motel chains at exits throughout your trip. I can tell you that you're probably looking at three 600 mile days to get there. 600 mile days are aren't easy, but they're doable.
