We are taking a road trip june 6th fom Minneapolis to Niagra falls. I have never visited the area and wanted to know others experiences there. I'm open to any and all suggestions. We will be traveling with my 1 year old son so if you know any kid friendly activities please let me know. Thanks for your help!

    Default Maid of the Mist!

I don't know if you can take your 1-year old son, in the boat, but the Maid of the Mist is fantastic. In a slightly nutso fashion -- the roar of that many tons of water is awe inspiring.

    Default Niagara Falls

I live close to Niagara Falls (although not in the City of Niagara Falls thankfully) and I can honestly say that you would have more fun on the Canadian side of the falls, In the Clifton Hill tourist area you will find many wax museums and other attractions of that kind. On the American side we have really messed up and you will find some chemical factories, a closed up mall, a casino and some closed shops, but not a heck of a lot else. The Canadians also have a better view of the falls and it is pretty over there.
