Default the wheels of progress grind exceedingly slow

Hello there. Finally got the home p.c. connected to my client's database/server on Thursday afternoon, now need to learn what to do with it! Training scheduled for first week of May.

On to the real dilemma: how to hit the road, make my required morning connections to three separate systems and avoid spending thousands per month (or trying to find a land line at 5 a.m.)...

    Default Ready, Set & Go!

MA: Hello there. Finally got the home p.c. connected to my client's database/server on Thursday afternoon, now need to learn what to do with it! Training scheduled for first week of May.

RW: What was the final solution to the earlier problems?

MA: On to the real dilemma: how to hit the road, make my required morning connections to three separate systems and avoid spending thousands per month (or trying to find a land line at 5 a.m.)...

RW: What are the three (I thought it was two) connections? Have you given the CDPD option any more thought? That Venturi accelerator program might solve some of your issues.

RW: How soon do you anticipate hitting the road?

    Default Another Accelerator Program

    Melissa,

You might want to check out www.laplink.com -- I haven't begun to weave past the marketing hype yet -- but it may be a partial solution for you that you can use Today -- while I work towards a dashboarder-geared application.

    Default Give GoAmerica a look

    Melissa,

Been a while since we have heard from you. In regards to your connectivity issues, I am grudgingly becoming supportive of CDPD offerings through www.GoAmerica.com There are all of the usual issues, but this Wireless ISP may be work well for those attempting to do what you do in the field.
