Looking at the graph at The National Weather centre, it would seem that the latest 'Winter storm' only produced about 4 inches of new snow accumulation! That's a bit of a let down and looking at the latest image, seems about right!

The January Weather summary from Yosemite NPS doesn't make good reading.

Yeah, that is a bit of bummer.

The Weather centre is forecasting a very good chance of some significant snowfall on Thursday, starting off with a 40% chance of snow Tuesday night and increasing to a 60% chance on Wednesday. Here's hoping!
Dave
Snowing quite heavy right now and that's expected to continue through to Friday morning, bringing the possibility of up to 5 feet of fresh snow on the high ground.
Dave
That is looking much better!
The other side of the storms are the mudflows in the fire areas. Look at this video from the outflow side of the Sierra Madre Dam in southern California!
When you look at the link above, set the playback at 12 hours -- in the lower right. Most of the night, it is just rain, but it gets light at about 5:30 am and it is just water streaming, but by about 11:30 am, the water turns to a muddy water flow.
Bummer, the camera lost power at 1:54 PM.
Mark
Yeah that was pretty bad, like a thick slurry, but at least the flow rate seemed to have kept it moving. I noticed the Weather centre's warning of floods throughout the area at lower levels.
