Default Photos from my brother's wild Sierra Nevada Holiday

I don't think Dan will write a field report -- but he is a fine photographer and I thought you'd enjoy this one:

Do you know where this is?

    Default Cool photo !

Wow that's a great shot and love the RTA cannister. The photo doesn't give much away in exact location, but it looks like a viewpoint from Glacier point road in Yosemite NP. Having said that it could be Tioga Pass or Kings canyon or many other spots ! Haha

I was going to guess King's Canyon.

But like Dave, I love the bottle in the picture. It really gives you perspective!

    Default Donna is very close!

    Dan writes:

    The Needles Fire Lookout.
    Sequoia National Monument.

Here's another one for you eagle eyes:

I'm gonna guess Mono Lake here, but I'm not really sure about that.

    Default May need a clue.

Tough one with such a narrow field of vision, but would it be on the June Lake loop ? Silver or Grant lake ?

Got me beat. I even cheated and had a look on Dan's page to see if pic was there. Even asked Mr Google. To many pics there to look through so i will have to wait until one of you other detectives pick it.

Default Mt. Whitney like few of us have seen

And I can't keep all of these to myself...

Dan camped somewhere near the Alabama Hills so he could capture the first dawn light on the eastern face of Mt. Whitney, and then...

A couple of minutes later. Wowza!

    Default Love the Alabama hills.

The Mt Whitney photos are really cool and brings back fond memories of when we camped in the Alabama hills. Amazing !
