  1. Default Advice needed-driving late November from CA to Colorado

I'm planning to drive from northern California to Colorado Springs, CO late November. I'm wondering which route is best to take for driving conditions. Does anyone have any advice on whether itís ok to take I-70 or I 80 or should I plan on going through southern CA and through AZ and New Mexico to avoid bad road conditions? Any advice is greatly appreciated!

It's impossible to predict the weather this far in advance - at this point, I'd say stick with the original shorter routing, and only if a significant weather event appears imminent, then look for alternate routes.

    Default Agreed

I agree, heading South doesn't automatically guarantee better weather, and adding time to your journey increases the risk of having adverse conditions, purely by being "out there" for longer.

Would you please post where in Northern CA you will be leaving from?
