Kansas to Las Vegas - Mother and Daughter Trip
My mother whom is 62 and myself whom is 32 is traveling next week to Las Vegas to visit my brother. There are two routes of which we could take - leaving from Central Kansas which takes us down I70 through Colorado, etc. Or we can leave from SE KS, which takes us down through Oklahoma, TX, AZ, etc. I am not for sure which route would be the most exciting to see things. Does anyone have any advice on either of these routes. I would greatly appreciate any help. Thanks!

Personally, I always enjoy traveling on I-70 through Colorado and Utah. There is good reason why it is considered to be one of the most scenic freeways in the world, and there are several national parks that are within easy reach of the highway for a detour.
Of course, I-40 can be a nice route too and it also has some things that are very much worth seeing.
To me, there is actually a very easy answer to this question though: do both! Travel on one highway going to Las Vegas, and then use the other route as you head home.
