  1. Default LA to NY in 7 days

    Hey all,

Suffice to say, I haven't done much research on this. I'm moving back east on August 1st and will be making the cross-country trip from LA to NY.

I am hoping to keep it to 7 days, but am open to 8-10 if there is something substantial I would be missing out on.

Any suggestions on best routes, sights, stops to do would be much appreciated.

    Thanks a bunch!

    Default its a big country

    Welcome to the RTA Forum!

You're looking at 5-6 days of good hard driving to make the trip across country, so with 7 days, you've got room to make a few stops, and if you expand it out to 8-10, you really could stop almost anywhere you'd want.

Having said that, this is a huge country, and there are millions of possible things you could see along the way. There's really no way at this point for anyone else to narrow down those millions, you just have to at least think of a couple big things you might like to stop at along the way. Once you've got the basics, then we can be of more help to fill in the gaps.

  3. Default LA to NY

Hey there! I am moving from Portland Oregon to Chicago and my plan to leave is august first and drive 84-80 east.

How are you driving? What road are you taking?

    Well happy travels!
