  1. Default Quick Trip LA to Great Falls, Montana

Can anyone help with suggestions. First time driving from LA via Las Vegas to Salt Lake City, then Cody Wyoming and up to Great Falls Montana for one way drop off hire car. Only 1 week to do it all........any ideas? I figure it will take about 6 hours driving each day.

    Default Not Even

Welcome aboard the RoadTrip America Forums!

You're going to need to be on the road for less than 6 hours each day. You're looking at about 1,500 miles each way and that means close to 27 hours total or only 4 hours each day over 7 days. That leaves you plenty of time for sight seeing along the way, but before anyone can make any recommendations, they'll have to know what you'd like to see.

Also note that your screen name will probably be changed shortly for your own protection.

  3. Default Cowboy/Western Interest

Many thanks AZBuck.......we would like to see great scenery and anything cowboy/western of interest. Plan to go to Buffalo Bill Heritage Centre in Cody and would love to do the drive through the "east gate" into Yellowstone National Park. If anyone has any suggestions as to cowboy or western things to do it would be most appreciated. Also great to know our trip won't be too long between stops.
