    Default fall

    Welcome to the RTA Forum!

Fall is a great time to make this trip. Temperatures are generally moderate, the summer crowds have thinned, but the road closures and cold temperatures of winter haven't set in yet.

There are thousands of posts and threads with ideas about this basic trip. Rather than reinvent the wheel, I suggest you take a look at some of them, get a feel for the area and what you'd like to do, and then come back if you have some more specific question or an outline of your plan.
