  1. Default Driving from Toronto to California for the March break

My family is planning to take a road trip to California for the March break (2 weeks). We would like to stop by and see the Grand Canyon on the way and enjoy thr site seeing along the way. We will be travrvelling with 2 kids 8 & 4. We would also like to see what other place are on the way and the kids would enjoy as well. Please advise what else we can see on the way there and way back.

    Waiting for reply.

    Default Not Much Time

Welcome aboard the RoadTrip America Forums!

It's over 2,500 miles (over 4,000 km) from Toronto to Los Angeles. Throw in the Grand Canyon and "other places on the way" and you're looking at spending the vast majority of your two weeks in the car. I'm not sure how much your two children would enjoy that. At the very least, plan on letting them get out for some exercise and 'blowing off steam' every few hours. Some of the other highlights would be Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore, stops along the Oregon Trail in western Nebraska, Rocky Mountain National Park, and Arches National Park.
