Hello, new member from the UK (Aberdeen)
I work 4 weeks on, 4 weeks off in Kazakhstan and spend a lot of my time off flying all over the world (in order to avoid tax man - less than 90 days in UK means paying no income tax).
I have booked flights for Vancouver for the end of January (two weeks). My plan is to hire car and drive down to Las Vegas taking in all the States en route. I would like to visit all the US states this year (done all East Coast, New England, Texas, Lousiana, Oaklahoma and Arkansas) although not all on this trip.
I have done all Europe by car so no problems driving in the US (obviously you guys drive on the wrong side of the road) but I had a few concerns / questions.
Can I expect any problems due to road conditions heading from Las Vegas to Colarado then Wyoming and Montana? I trust most of the car hire companies do not have a mileage charge as I expect to do approx 3500 miles on my trip.
Any problems with a Brit driving a Canadian hire car into the US?
