  1. Default San Francisco to Portland (OR)

I am planning a roadtrip with my husband and 10 month old baby, from San Francisco to Portland and would appreciate some ideas/advice on possible stops and sights to see.

We hope to complete the trip from SFO to portland and back in 8 days - does that sound resaonable?

Since we are SFO residents we have already seen the redwoods, mendocino, napa/sonoma.

We defintely want to see Crater Lake and stop at Eureka.

What are some other places to stop/things to see and do?

    Default Oregon Caves

If you go by way of Eureka, you can stop by Oregon Caves, then
head out to Crater Lake NP.

There are other sights to see on the way to Crater Lake.

Along the Rogue River there's Natural Bridge. A lava tube where
Rogue River disappears into the lava tube and reemerges downstream.

    Natural Bridge

Along the Umpqua River is Toketee Falls. A lovely waterfall that flows
over an opening through a wall of columnar basalt.

You should make time to drive the Historic Columbia Hwy.
There are so many beautiful waterfalls to see.

    Have a great trip.
