Thread: PA to CO

  1. Default PA to CO

My boyfriend and I are moving out to Parker, Colorado in early July from Pennsylvania. We've only ever been around the east coast and to AZ and CO. I know I-80 is the main route to take there, but what are cool places that we could stop on the way there?! We aren't in a huge rush to get there, but would like to make it in 4 days driving with stops included. (Stops don't have to be full day, i'm thinking like a few hours depending on where it is).
So really, what are good tourist spots along the way, or even places not to many people know about that would be interesting or have good views(good photography stops).
Any help or info would be appreciated!
    Thanks :)

Default Good reason for a roadtrip!

I hope you enjoy your new home. Welcome to the RTA forums.

I don't think you'll be able to do much better than this list of parks and other scenic areas along I-80 for finding scenic/photographic places to stop.

You should be able to stop and explore a bit with 4 days to make the trip but you won't be able to linger too much. Even an extra day would help give you some more time to play and might be worth considering.
