  1. Default Month Long Western Roadtrip

Basically, I want to go from Riverside, CA all the way up to Vancouver, BC and then back. I've got everything in California planned out as follows:

    Big Bear
    San Luis Obispo
    Bass Lake
    San Francisco
    Rohnert Park
    Folsom, Tahoe, etc
    Sundial Bridge
    McArthur-Bruney Falls State park
By way of 3 off 299, Eureka “Avenue of the Giants,” Humboldt State Park
    Crescent City
    Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park

From there, it's into Oregon and Washington and so on but I'm really just not sure what to do. Def. want Crater Lake, Mt. Hood, Mt. Reinier, Mt. St Helens, Portland and Seattle. Basically, after that, I'm open. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance for all your help! I'm woefully ignorant of the scenic Northwest.

    Welcome to the RTA Forum!

I wish I had the time to do this kind of trip, it sounds fantastic.

Lets get you started by having you look at this compilation of some of our favorite threads about the Pacific Northwest, most of those posts come from Judy, our resident Washington State resident. I'd also read field reports of Crater Lake and Mount Saint Helens, as well as a trip from the Redwoods to Seattle.
