Default NC / Tennesse / Kentucky / Ohio roadtrip

We're going to meander through these states starting in Asheville, NC and stopping in Graceland, Nashville, Lexington and the Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland this summer. Any suggestions for places we just have to see along the way?

We're looking for the "world's largest frying pan" or "biggest ball of yarn", etc.

    Thanks so much!

Default One of my favorite areas

That is one of my favorite areas to travel. The topography lends itself to a meandering type of road trip, that's for sure.

You may want to read my report from my last trip to the Kentucky and Ohio area here. If you've never had the chance to see a river lock in action, take a drive along the Ohio and stop at one of the locks if you have a chance. It is fun to watch and quite interesting.

Cleveland has the world's largest rubber stamp.
Kentucky has the world's largest cave system.
