  1. Default Road trip LA - vegas - LA

Me and 2 friends are going to America in May 2008 and was wondering if i could get some travel advise on

    - Best routes
    - Sites
    - Accomodation
    - Must see events or attractions
    - Best food stops
    - Best nightclubs

Were starting in LA then going to San Fran - Yosemite - Death Valley - Vegas - Grand Canyon and then back to LA....the whole trip is approx 12 days

Any information will be greatly appreciated..

The allotted time is great -- Welcome to the Great American RoadTrip Forum. Tioga Pass may still be closed in May -- making travel between Yosemite and Death Valley a bit more lengthly -- here are some suggestions.

The Great Midwest, Illinois to be precise

    Default Take Route 66

From the Grand Canyon, go south and spend a night in Williams, Az. Then drive Route 66 back to LA.

You'll especially like the stretch between Kingman, Az, and the California state line and, you'll get to see the burros in Oatman.

Keep on Down that Two Lane Highway. --RoadDog
