On March 15, 2008 we are planning on leaving on a 2 month roadtrip from Orlando, Florida. We will visit in this order, New Orleans, Houston, Oklahoma City, Albuquerque, Phoenix, Las Vegas, Lake Tahoe, San Francisco, Oregon Coast, Seattle, Idaho, Montana, Yellowstone, Rapid City, North Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin and then return home to Orlando on May 15, 2008.
We are driving our own car which is a Honda Accord V-6 and will be staying in hotels for approx 60 nights. I am estimating costs to be about $200 a day including food hotels and gas at $3.25 per gallon. Is this reasonable based on your experiences?
Also, we are interested in stop-off places along the way. Any suggestions will be appreciated.
