  1. Default San Francisco to San Diego....please help!

Hi, a friend and myself are setting of to San Francisco on Monday from England for 4 weeks. We plan to end up in San Diego as we fly out from there home. We plan to spend about 4 days in SF and then we've hired a car for a large majority of the rest of the holiday. We want to travel down the coast, see the Big Sur etc and stop off in LA and travel across to Las Vegas. Can anyone help with suggestions as to what we should do and see? Time frames etc? Is it possible to see the National Parks too or are they too much of a detour?! Many thanks!

    Default Plenty of time

Welcome to the RoadTrip America Forum!

With four weeks to spend, you have plenty of time to take in the sights you plan on seeing. Now, were you wondering about stopping at one of the National Parks whilst on your way to Las Vegas, and spending a day or two there? Or were you thinking of going to one of the parks for an hour or two, then continuing on to the city?

I dont think we mind really as we have a good amount of time. Is it best to spend a day or two in the National Parks? And if we wanted to go to Yosemite when's best to do that?
