  1. Default Boston to Seattle in 1 month.....Need advice

    Hey everyone
I'm planning a roadtrip for July and I'm going from Boston to Seattle. I'm planning on going to Chicago, then doing Rt 66 and going up the Pacific Coast.
I'm just looking to see if anyone knows of neat places to stay or fun things to do. Any kind of advice would help.

Default A Lot of Personal Choices

Welcome aboard the RoadTrip America Forums!

Certainly there are a n awful lot of "neat places and fun things to do" along your route. For Boston to Chicago, you've got the sights along the Mohawk Trail, the Erie Canal, and then the parks and islands of the Great Lakes, such as Kelleys Island and Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore. Then, of course the charms of US-66 are well documented, even if the route technically doesn't exist any more. But what you do, where you go, what you see and how long you take to do any one thing are personal choices. If there are particular things that you have in mind, or even interests or things you've enjoyed in the past, those would help people recommend particular sites. But I hope the links I've given you help get you started.
