  1. Default Senior trip from Chicago to Florida

Hi, I'm about to graduate high school in a few days and me and three are thinking about a trip from Chicago to Florida. We plan on it being about a week long. Does anyone have some suggestions for good places to visit (close to beaches), and good, inexpensive places to stay? So far I came up with the Clearwater area, Sarasota, Pensacola or possibly Amelia Island.

    Default Welcome!

Welcome to the RoadTrip America Forum!

What are your preferred types of lodging - do you want to camp, or are hotels your thing?

It's roughly a two-day trip each way, since it appears you want to stick to the Northern part of the state, which leaves you three days to get out and explore the area if you have seven days.

We recommend you and your friends take our compatibility quiz before heading out on your trip so you all have a good idea of what everybody is expecting, and to head off some problems beforehand.
