  1. Default Seattle to LA one-way in a week

I'll be heading one-way from Seattle to LA in mid-may, any suggestions for a more leisurely scenic route than the post for the round trip version?

  2. Default Lots of options..

Hello ramblin, and welcome to the RoadTrip America forum!

What's your preference for things to see or do? There are several good week long trips heading south from Seattle to LA. And you can mix and match some of them to get a different flavor

    - North Pac Coast (Washington State coast)
    - Mid Pac Coast (Oregon State coast)
    - North California Coast (Redwoods National Park and south)
    - Central California Coast (Big Sur region)
    - Wine tour (Oregon/ Williamette valley wine region, Napa Valley, Paso Robles area, San Ynez wine regions)
    - Mountain Trip south (Rainier, Crater Lake, Shasta/ Lassen, Tahoe, then south)
    - Gold Country/ Yosemite

    etc etc..

    Default Good synopsis, Larrison

The reality is that each of these sections can be explored in a day or two, a week or two, or a month or two. You can easily take the suggestions in the round-trip discussion and just take it a bit slower and stop at more sights along the way. There are plenty of 'em. Way more than most threads list.
