SC to Montana

Planning a trip this summer from SC to Montana....would like advice on best driving route to take.

The term "Best" for any route is always a very subjective thing, and you've really told us so little about your plans, we can't tell you what would be best for your trip.

I can say that the most direct route from South Carolina to Montana would be something like I-26 to I-40 to Nashville, I-24, I-57, and I-64 to St. Louis, I-70 to KC, I-29 to Sioux Falls, and then I-90 to Montana.
