I know I haven't done it, but it sounds like quite a challenge - probably done best by someone who has the Streets and Trips software.

If I get some extra time in the next few days, I may see what I could come up with.

And for the record, I believe I have been in 40 of the 88 "everywhere" places.

By my count, I've been to 35. I never knew how he could say those so fast. He had to be using a list as he couldn't have memorized all of them.

Did anyone ever see him do it live?

We've often thought about this. I've only been to seventeen including Shreveport and Louisiana. I guess I've got a lot more miles to go.

I only had 21. It seems most are geared towards East Coasters? I haven't ahd the pleasure of much travel there. But it sure gives me a goal worth shooting for!

It seems to me that the list seems to be geared more towards the Central US. I see lots of places in Missouri (including Texas County), Kansas, Tennessee, and surrounding states - which I suppose makes sense, considering that's where the Man in Black is from.

I've also hit a couple of roadblocks in doing some basic research for doing this as a challenge trip. Several of these places don't seem to exist. Running a google search for places like Chadanocka, Tollaperson, andMattua just turns up links for the Cash song. Perhaps these places are overseas, or just made up?
