Megan and I have been here 3-4 times. There is something a little different about the source of the water for this waterfall...

Thanks for the clue!
Champagne Pool in Waiotapu, New Zealand
I am guessing the waterfall is not in Yellowstone, because of the geology -- but I could be wrong. Or one of the geysers -- been too long since I was in Yellowstone.

I really liked the Photoshop treatment by the flying alien! Very nice work!
That alone was worth some kudos on this. I didn't mention earlier, I was waiting to see if generated any other...
George, how did you happen to be there to take the photo?
Mark
George,
What about The White River Badlands in Nebraska?
Oh wait, you said on a Rez?
Hmmm
There are badlands like that in eastern Wyoming. But I've not seen that particular view.

Dave, now you are just toying with us. I love taking people to this town. If it is raining, so much the better.
And I see Utahtea is getting in the spirit of the veiled hints as well. That's...
A great story. Thanks for sharing the details.

With Respect to Donna's photo: hmmm -- Buffalo National River in Arkansas?

And I would play, but I have an unfair advantage, I've seen most of these photographs in the process of publishing Rick's book.
But I am enjoying lurking as you geo-sleuths figure them out!
