Nope, its not in Hawaii or on any island for that matter.

Right on. I took this last summer after a very interesting night of partying and exploring. It was about 4 a.m., that's why the waterfront isn't crowded (a rare sight out here!).
This one might be a little harder:

Baja Calornia Sur -- near the Sea of Cortez? I noticed that all of the air conditioning units are swamp coolers but I don't know if that mountain with the antennas is in the correct spot for this.

Mark : just swim across the Sea of Cortez and head north!
With that clue, I would venture.... maybe Guaymas? Beyond that, I won't get much closer -- the farthest south I've ever been is San Felipe in Baja California....

Nope, its not Kentucky. This is a really tough one, so here's another picture that might help:
Remember, I told Craig its south of the Keys, but I do hope to drive back there in my own car someday. On my way, I'd probably stop by this place again:

It looks like the Riviera Maya (architecture + tourists + tope sign), but the sign that says "insurance" makes me doubt. However, if it's south of the Keys it can only be in Hawaii if it's within the US and since you mentioned it is not in Hawaii, it has to be in Mexico!
@Mark & Michael: Look south of Rocky Point and north of Guaymas.
You are half right. The second picture is Tulum, the Mayan City on the coast south of Cancun and Playa del Carmen.Quote:

However, that's still a couple hundred miles from the first pictures. (although, you are on the right track with the insurance clue.)
