..and so are the Badger pass Ski Staff!
The Badger Pass Ski area was hopeful of being up and running on December 13th, but they are still waiting to open the slopes. They are reporting the last "Significant snow" (10cm) to have fallen on the 3rd January and all 5 lifts remain closed.

Hopefully it delivers this time!
Looking at this mornings High Sierra Webcam it doesn't appear as though the weekends snow amounted to much, if anything!

Although this is set for change. Another Winter Storm warning is in effect from 1pm today which looks to be bringing significant snow throughout the week. We can only hope it delivers this time!

atmospheric river storms heading
There are three different atmospheric river storms heading for California this week. Due to hit the Sierras on Wednesday. I hope that brings some more snow!
Thanks for the photos!
I was expecting to see the hump form!
Yep, that's a surprise all right!! It looks like a slight dusting of new snow, but not a lot.
I'm losing confidence in the weather forecasts, but they do say fresh snow after 10am tomorrow morning right through the day on Friday, heavy at times. Here's hoping !
