Where is this? What's the name of the tunnel? (Actually, I don't even know that...So, instead, what is the general area called?)
Hint #1: It's located in a memorable state park....
... or, to be more precise, the Iron Mountain Road in the Black Hills, and this particular tunnel (no, I can't find a name either) is aligned to frame the faces of Mount Rushmore.
OK, my turn. Location please, and what makes this particular building famous?

Yep, you are correct, although I didn't know it was called the Iron Mountain Road! Custer State Park is the largest state park in the USA and this is in the Needles District. The park is blessed some of the coolest orientation of tunnels on public roads in the nation. Some of them look like they were created in CGI for the movies -- It's hard to believe they are real!Quote:

Maybe it was a little obscure. This store was used as the setting for Grace’s Diner in the Marilyn Monroe film “Bus Stop” – where she and Don Murray were snowed in.
Hope this is a more reasonable challenge - what river is this?

That was my first guess as well -- but look at those mountains! I can't remember any place on the Columbia where you can see mountains like that. That looks like a commercial fishing vehicle. Dang, Peter's, (Vambo25) puzzles are tough! He must have looked high and low to find one of HIS images with so little detail - -most of Peter's photography published elsewhere on the RTA site are chock-full of iconic scenery.....
