I'll say that this storm is one that the forecasters are really having trouble with. At the beginning of the week here in Southern Wisconsin/Northern Illinois it was supposed to be a mix of snow and ice all day thursday. By yesterday it was mostly snow starting in the afternoon. This morning, it was all snow starting around 3, and this afternoon I was told the snow would start around 6, with us forecast to get about 12 inches by noon tomorrow.
Its now 10pm, and I haven't seen a flake yet.
I wouldn't mind if the snow starts on Sunday - then we're in Baltimore and don't need to worry about others driving in the snow.
It's raining a lot since about 2 hours, that should result in lot of fog tomorrow perhaps.
Last stop today at Wheeling, WV. All roads were clear, no rain overcast sky and strong winds.
All went well, but I guess those who are now on the road in the Northwest might experience more problems.
